last night we stayed in a comfortable hotel in the center of A Guarda.nice room, bathroom with bath and a nice bar where we attended the Champions League football match Barcelona -Barern Münich.

I was wondering why the people at the west side of Spain support Barcelona - I expected more Real Madrid fans but the people in the bar were shouting every tine when there happened something in favour of the Catalanes.

a man next to me asked were we came from and if we were Bayern supporters. No "vizca el Barça " I said- I worked some years in Barcelona-so still have a warm heart for them- and the man was so happy.. He bought us the drinks !

this morning we started about nine walking and walking out of A Guarda there started a tyring off road track around a mountain with lot of dirt tracks.

after a while we walked on the hard shoulder of a main road and that kept on for a while.

all the time we had a nice view at the ocean but more than that it was not today .

about 12h30 we arrived in Santa Maria de Oia, had our first coffee -between A Guarda and Oia are no facilities for drinks or food.

we find a nice hotel with a sea view. More than a moneistero there is nothing to see of any interest.

tomorrow we will go on to Baiona together with the two Swiss ladies who we met later in the afternoon.

gisterenavond hadden we een confortabel hotel in A Guarda met een mooie badkamer en ligbad om even de vermoeidheid uit de spieren te laten vertrekken.

's avonds was werd er in de hotelbar naar de voetbalwedstrijd Barcelona Bayern München gekeken en het was verbazend dat er hier zover van Barcelona zoveel Barça fans zijn, getuige de vele aanmoedigingen en gejuich.Een man naast me vroeg of we voor Bayern waren. Nee ....Barça natuurlijk-ik werkte een aantal jaren in Barcelona dus ben fan. Prompt betaalde hij onze drankjes.

vanmorgen tegen negen uur op pad. We moesten langs een hoge berg over vele bospaden voordat we langs een provinciale weg kwamen te lopen er viel weinig over te vertellen meer dan dat we continue mooi zicht op zee hadden. Begin van de middag arriveerden we in Santa Maria de Oia waar weinig te beleven is.We vonden er een goed hotel waar we nu zitten uit te rusten. De Zwitserse dames kwamen we ook hier tegen en met hen reizen we morgen verder naar Baiona en zo komt Santiago de Compostela langzaam dichter bij.
